How to set up your Power Switcher

Smart Reef account
If you already have a Smart Reef account, you can skip this step and proceed with “Connect to your Power Switcher”
Please set up your Smart Reef account if you haven’t already before you attempt to configure your Power Switcher. Because of safety reasons, it is required to connect the device with the Smart Reef system.
To set up the account please go to http://www.reeffactory.com and look for this icon in the top right corner:
Click on the icon and find the Create button on the list.
Type in the email address you would like to use and the password. The password should be easy to remember yet hard to crack.
Connect to your Power Switcher
First, you will have to connect to your Power Switcher. To do this, you will need a Windows, Mac, Android or iOS device. You will have to connect to the device’s Wi-Fi network.

Set Power Switcher limits
After you are successfully connected with the device you should see this screen:
In the first section please select your home Wi-Fi network on the list and type in the password for your router. In the login in to smart reef system section below please put the credentials to log in to your Smart Reef account.
If you can’t find your network on the list, it may be necessary to move the Power Switcher closer to the router or vice versa. If your network still won’t show up please check if the router SSID is not hidden or if the router is not turned off.
You have successfully configured your Power Switcher. To proceed with the configuration disconnect from your Power Switcher and connect with your home network. If the configuration process was successful you should receive a notification email informing you that the device was connected to your Smart Reef account. The device should now appear on the list of devices in the Smar Reef system. From now on you can configure the device further through the Smart Reef app (in the browser, or on your phone).
