Actions

Automatic actions allow two devices to be linked together in a way that enables them to collaborate in order to perform specific tasks automatically.

With actions, maintaining a saltwater aquarium becomes easier as it doesn't require constant monitoring and manual intervention. Devices can cooperate in real-time, responding to changing conditions and adjusting their actions automatically.

You can configure various parameters according to your individual needs and preferences. This allows for optimal utilization of devices, providing appropriate control and process automation.

To add a new action, follow these steps:

1. Select your aquarium in the Smart Reef application.

2. Choose the "Actions" tab.

3. Select the "ADD ACTION" option.

4. In the "When" field, choose the device that controls the specific action.

5. In the "Select command" field, choose the parameter on which the execution of the action depends.

6. In the "Then" field, choose the device that will perform the specific action.

7. In the "Select command" field, choose the action that the device will execute after the above conditions are met.
   
   

Not all Reef Factory devices support actions, and those that do may require the appropriate software version. In the table below, you can find the currently available devices and the required software versions.
