 Check the internet

Please check if you have an internet at home where is the device.

 Check the electricity

Please check if you have the electricity at home (in place where you have the device).

 Please check if the device is connected to the electricity

Please check if the device is connected to the electricity and works properly.

 Check the WiFi router

Please check your WiFi router maybe good idea is to restart / reset it. After you restarted it please check if the internet works fine.

 Restart your device

Next step what you can do is to restart the device. The easiest way is to unplug the device from the electricity for 30 seconds and plug it back. Next you will need to wait few minutes and check if it is back online.

 Connect device again to the WiFi router

Next what you can do is to configurate the device agiain. You can just connect with device WiFi and open WiFi list. Next choose your home WiFi router and conect again with it.

 Reset the device using the reseting magnet

Using the reseting magnet in the proper place you can rest any our device. In the dvices manuals is written where are the specyfic places where you should place the reseting magnet and reset the device.

After you reset it it is required to configurate it - like a new device.

Next what you can do is to configurate the device agiain. You can just connect with device WiFi and open WiFi list. Next choose your home WiFi router and conect again with it.

 Use mobile hot spot to check connection

When you still struggle with the WiFi connection then please instead using your home WiFi router please share you hot spot WiFi signal. So when you are conected with the device - like is written in the prievous steps. In the place where is the list of the WiFi networks please choose the hot spot network. When is connected please also check Smart reef connection status.

If it work with the hot spot WiFi but it didnt work with your home WiFi router there could be few reasons of that:

  1. Old school model of the router - its better to have modern one (less issues with the devices)

  2. Something from the router level is blocking the connection with the device

  3. Device is too far from the WiFi router

 Nothing helped still have the connection issue
