  • Connect to KH keeper

First, you will have to connect to your KH keeper. To do this, you will need a Windows, Mac, Android or iOS device. You will have to connect to the device’s Wi-Fi and go to www.khkeeper.io.

In the article How do I connect to my Reef Factory device you can find more detail about connecting to your device.

  • Set dkH range for your tank

Please select the range you want your kit to be within. If the measured value will be greater/lower than the limits you’ve set you will get a warning.

After the initial setup, you will be able to select Actions for other devices (for example Dosing Pumps/Dosing Pumps Pro) in our Smart reef system. It allows you to change the dosing amount for your Reef Factory pumps automatically. You can find more about it in Smart Reef Actions article.

  • Connect KH keeper to your home network

Now you can connect your KH keeper to the home network. To do this, please pick your Wi-Fi from the list and type in the password you’ve set for your router.

If you can’t find your network on the list, it may be necessary to move the KH keeper closer to the router or vice versa. If your network still won’t show up please check if the router SSID is not hidden or if the router is not turned off.

You may skip this step however, you won’t be able to use any Smart reef features, check the status of the device and you won’t get any notifications about your kH measures.

You can connect at any time after the first setup if you skip this step.

  • Setting up your Smart reef account

Please login to your existing Smart reef account or create a new one.

Congratulations!

You have successfully configured your KH keeper.
